10 Tracks throughout the career of Amy Douglas
“Aloha! My name is Amy Douglas. I am a singer /songwriter, pianist, and professional bad influence from Brooklyn New York.”
1. Michael The Lion – Get It On feat. Amy Douglas
Here is the real beginning of my partnership with Michael The Lion and our incredible run of singles for Soul Clap records.
2. Luke Solomon feat. Queen Rose & Amy Douglas ‘Light You Up’
My first outing with Mr. Luke Solomon and the gorgeous Queen Rose for Classic.
3. Amy Douglas – Never Saw It Coming (Official Video) [DFA Records]
There will never be a song in my career more important than this one. Written by Tim Wagner and myself and produced by Tim, here is my real introduction.
4. Horse Meat Disco feat. Amy Douglas – ‘Let’s Go Dancing’ (7″ Version)
The first of the Horse Meat Disco collaborations. What a thrill to kick off the album.
5. Message To The People (feat. Amy Douglas & Dames Brown)
This is something of a sacred moment on the album. Using Shirley Caesar as a backbone and deploying the incredible Dames Brown, Luke Solomon and I wrote this at my piano here in Brooklyn.
HARD FEELINGS time. Instead of the OG, however I am putting the remix which features the incredible Rye Rye.
7. Running Out Of Time
This is my favorite song that I wrote for the Hard Feelings album and honestly, I was very crushed when it was never released as a single. I was hoping it would be the lead single instead of Holding on Too Long. Of all of the songs that I wrote during that time, few describe my feelings about feeling like life is about to be extinguished personally so deeply.
8. No in Between (feat. Amy Douglas)

No In Between is… one of my favorite moments I love Craig Bratley. Our little piece of Balearica? Bonafide smash. This is the dub version that everybody really enjoyed.
9. No in Between (feat. Amy Douglas)
I’m pulling us out of chronology a little bit here, because I keep hearing this song popping back up from the past, so feels almost brand new! I did this with Kon, and as of recent, I just noticed everybody starting to pull it out again, so I thought I would include it here.
10. Amy Douglas – Freak At Night (Video) [Razor-N-Tape]
Already an instantaneous classic, I am so immensely proud of “Freak At Night!”
