Track your progress over time on iPhone.
Apple Watch lets you see your daily activity at a glance. To see your progress and trends over longer periods of time, there’s Fitness — an Apple Watch companion app on your iPhone. You can view your activity history, workouts, and achievements by the day, the week, and the month. And it’s easy to zoom in on the details to see just how far you’ve come. There’s also a Health app on iPhone that allows you to share your activity and workout data with your favorite third-party health and fitness apps.
Your wallet. Without the wallet.
Apple Pay is a more convenient, secure way to pay using just your Apple Watch. Now you can buy coffee, groceries, and more right from your wrist. With a simple setup, you can use your credit and debit cards at hundreds of thousands of U.S. locations, with more to come.
A whole new era for apps.
Apple Watch isn’t just a different location for your favorite apps. It’s an entirely different way to experience them. A time-saving feature called Glances condenses the most relevant information from each app into a form you can easily scan on the fly. And because Apple Watch can tap you on the wrist, you’ll be aware of notifications instantly.
Calendar. See what’s next in your day or upcoming week. Apple Watch sends you meeting reminders, as well as calendar invitations you can accept or decline directly from your wrist.
Maps. See your current location and get directions. Maps gives you the single best route. And turn-by-turn navigation helps you arrive at your destination.
Passbook. Store your boarding passes, tickets, loyalty cards, and more right on your wrist. Passbook alerts you when your discount or loyalty cards are relevant. And lets you choose which credit or debit card to use for Apple Pay.
Music. Control the music on your iPhone without taking it out of your pocket. And when you leave iPhone at home to go for a jog, listen to music directly on Apple Watch
Apple TV and iTunes. Navigate Apple TV and control the iTunes library on your Mac or PC from Apple Watch. Swipe around the main menu, scroll through lists and collections, select movies, listen to iTunes Radio, and more.
Remote Camera. Apple Watch doubles as a remote for the iSight camera on your iPhone. Use Apple Watch to display a live preview of what your iPhone sees, snap the photo, or set the timer on the camera.
Stopwatch. Apple Watch presents this popular watch function in digital, analog, or hybrid view. It can even show you a real-time average of your lap times on a graph — something you won’t find on other watches.
Timer. Tap the hours or minutes field, then adjust the number up or down using the Digital Crown. The orange line around the dial increases or decreases to match, helping you visualize the duration.
Alarm. Apple Watch lets you manage, label, and edit multiple alarms with ease. Simply scroll through the hours and minutes to set your wake-up time.
World Clock. Doing business in another time zone? Calling a friend overseas? Check the time in different cities around the globe with one quick look.
Stocks. See the price of your favorite stock at a glance, including dollar and percent change, and percent change in market cap for the day.
Weather. Check the weather where you are or for any location around the world. See a detailed report for the day or get the week’s forecast.
Photos. Apple Watch keeps your favorite photos on your wrist. You can zoom into photos with the Digital Crown, then swipe to scroll through them. And even choose one to display on your watch face.
Siri. Dictate a message, ask to view your next event, find the nearest coffee shop, and more. Siri is closer than ever with Apple Watch.
Settings. Enable or disable Airplane mode, Bluetooth, and Do Not Disturb. Also turn mute on or off, or ping your iPhone to determine its location.
Start on Apple Watch. Continue on iPhone.
Apple Watch is perfect for quick interactions, but if you need to do something more involved, just pick up your iPhone.
