Wow! You’ve got to listen to what i received in my inbox today. So almost like everyday i also managed to open up my email and there is was amongst a lot of other promo’s sended to me everyday i there was this new release from Ben Gomori – Neuroplasticity EP.
We all know the London Based producer Ben Gomori from his often to give away for free tracks / free downloads. Check out our Free download section for some of his earlier free goodies. But this time the tracks are not free and that is really not an issue since good music like this deserves the financial support that it need’s to stay alive.
Ben Gomori – Neuroplasticity is a 4 track EP which will be released on Alive Recordings on the 16th of February. On this EP Ben worked together with JNR Williams on the vocals and the label Head Honcho Tom Budden who did the remix for Ben Gomori – Neuroplasticity.
Let’s analyze each track a little…
Ben Gomori – Neuroplasticity
The original and main title of the EP brings that Deep House groove straight at ya with a little laid-back vibe, easy to dance and vibe to and also very listenable. The Synth stab progression with the vocals from JNR Williams are definitely leading here as the acid stylish bass and arpeggiator are topping things of.
Ben Gomori – Neuroplasticity (Tom Budden remix)
I would prefer this remix if i wanted to bang the club a little bit more and perfect for later on the night. It has a more bouncy bass-line and the BPM lies a little higher to so that it would fit better in a prime-time set.
Ben Gomori – I Don’t Want No (Remix)
Another track from Ben Gomori which brings back the summer right at the moment we need it the most. I Don’t Want No has a great summer 80’s house vibe. The old school synth stabs with that typical 80’s house beat are bringin back the good old memories.
Ben Gomori – I Don’t Want No
Amazing vocals on an amazing piece of music, less summer than the remix i described here above, this one has a mystic feel. A dark scene covered by a bed of fog. Slowly you are walking into the mist without knowing what’s going to happen next, and then the mist clears as you walk through it and a beautiful world is there in front of you.
My final plea.
I definitely like al 4 tracks on the EP, but if i had to choose a favorite my personal would be the Main title Ben Gomori – Neuroplasticity. Every single track here is a high quality production, they all have groove and bring the good feelings, perfect for any setting, a club party, a beach party. or just some headphone listening. it’s a great EP and deserves the support!
