Best Disco & Deep House Music

Last week you were getting down on my special DJ mix for the heroes. The week before we talked about the importance of social distancing in podcast episode 348. While the coronavirus is still spreading and some places are in a real bad shape. I want to keep reminding you to stay home and isolate yourself from social real life activities.

I do want to send all the strength, power and love to all people in the USA and especially New York. What happens there is really devastating. Please stay strong people! Logically i’m sending my virtual strength all over the world as the virus is attacking all countries. Please be safe people, take care of your loved ones and yourself.

I would love to invite you in real and throw a big party where i would even be doing a live DJ set for you.

Now that i stated that, something a bit different just before we dive into the weekly selection of music. This Thursday the 9th of April i’m inviting you to my online presence and my online social channels to stop by and wish me a happy 40th birthday. I would love to invite you in real and throw a big party where i would even consider doing a live DJ set, but you’ll understand that this is temporary not possible.

For this mixed music session i selected 22 new tracks, with 1 of them as the free download. 4 music promos that are still forthcoming on the time of writing this and recording the music show. And for everybody that loves vinyl, 14 songs are available on vinyl (12”).

The forthcoming promos this week are coming from Pitto on Heist recordings, which i highlighted here below. The new Street Pack EP by Johannes Albert on Foul & Sunk will come out on the 16th of April. The African influenced vocal house track by Gimbrere & Sebastien Robert – Makossa from the Breakbeat Passage EP on Sulta Selects will be released on the 20th this month.

Demuja – Atlantic Avenue | MUJA

Now that the world is locked down, luckily there is the internet, there is music and there is the Austrian in Salzburg based Demuja with a brand new album release ‘Atlantic Avenue’ on his very own imprint MUJA records.

Demuja is known for his soulful infused sounds across the whole electronic music spectrum. His new album is a real must-have \ must listen to piece of work if you love different styles of electronic music. From the best Disco & Deep House music, to Breakbeat, Jungle and even Drum & Bass styled music. With acid, nu-disco and even a bit of real rave house vibes this album is one to check out.

Pitto – Baila Baila | Heist Recordings

Heist Recordings definitely belongs on the list of my favorite Dutch labels. Even the head honchos Detroit Swindle are among my favorite artist. Quality passionate music is what they are all about. The same goes for Pitto and his latest (forthcoming) release on Heist. Unfortunately but maybe it’s a good thing that Pitto isn’t dropping new music frequently. He likes to take the time and let his creative ideas evolve.

His new Baila Baila EP includes 3 new originals and one remix from Pete Herbert on Sammie, which i will play as the original is this essential selection. All tracks are spring infused and if you ask me i might just call them real spring music anthems as they directly inject that sunshine vibe into your body. Pre-order the 12” here. Or wait for the digital formats to arrive on your favorite music streaming service or digital store to buy the music for your very own DJ sets.

Black Loops – Something Special | Freerange

Riccardo Paffetti a.k.a. Black Loops and Freerange Records are both very common names here in our weekly Dirty Disco broadcasts. For a few years now, Black Loops is in a very high demand by other artists to remix their music. You might know his remixes he did for Tender Games and or Disco House king: Joey Negro.

The newest release on Freerange by Black Loops is as the title says Something Special. The EP includes 4 new original tracks on the digital release and 3 on the 12” release. All tracks will do perfect on a big sound system as they have a minimalistic approach bu include very deep warm bouncing basslines, shuffling dynamic beats and analogue pads. Check out the vinyl release here.

This week’s music give away.

Just like every week there is a free music download for you which you can get through the free DJ record pool service that i run. Basically this means when you sign-up for the newsletter you will receive a free track every week.

This weeks music give away was already featured in last weeks music mix session among a few other best Disco & Deep House music tracks. I also did a full exclusive music review on the second EP release by CHAMP – Fantasy Land here.
