Oh my goodness, i have something that i would describe as very tasteful delicious smooth soulful deep house.
This new release from Brame & Hamo – Clockwerk on the very new imprint Splendour & Squalor, Both Brame & Hamo and the imprint Splendour & Squalor are from Sligo in Ireland so i figure that Brame & Hamo are behind the new imprint.
I can say that Brame & Hamo are certainly on my favorites list, most likely you have heard their release on the German Dirt Crew Records, i love their sound and you can expect me playing this E.P. in my sets but also on in my weekly radio show and podcasts.
On the Brame & Hamo – Clockwerk E.P. are 4 tracks including a very dope remix by the German producer Duo Session Victim. The
First up on the Splendor & Squalour imprint is Brame & Hamo, with a superb remix from the German producer duo Session Victim.
A1 // Brame & Hamo – Clockwerk. Is a deep lushious sounding groover with fat deep pads and strings taking you an a deep journey.
A2 // Brame & Hamo – Clockwerk (Session Victim Remix). This remix is a bit more up-tempo, the short synth stabs combined with the very grooving off beat percussion is giving it an extra layer of energy.
B1 // Hamo – S.O.U.L. More as the title already explaines and as we can see it’s also a abbreviation of something, but i don’t know what, so if Brame and or Hamo are reading this they are more than welcome to explain 😉 The track has S.O.U.L. and i love it!
B2 // Brame – Full Custody. The last track on the E.P. but definitely not the least, if you were not grooving already, this one is definitely going to, where ever you are, sitting, standing, it’s does not matter what you are up to what you are busy with,this one is going to groove you no matter what. If not go see a doctor. 😉
With the very first release on this new imprint their is also the Slendor & Squalor Podcast, spoken for it’s self this is the very first from i expect to see a series, this first one if from the hands of Brame & Hamo. The podcast starts with some very dope underground deep Hip-Hop records, after +/- 30 minutes the tempo goes up and those 4×4 house beats come in. This all results in one fine podcast journey from Hip-Hop into the deep lucious house sounds, Deep House pur sang ladies and gentlemen!
