Everyday i receive a lot of email from producers and labels all over the world, DJ’s with their superb mixing skills and a lot of promos! So looking into my in-box every morning is a sort of surprise and next to what kind of weather it is it can make or break my day. 😉
This week i received a promo and i have to say from one of my favorite labels Heist Recordings which is based in Amsterdam The Netherlands and is the very own label of our dutch pride Detroit Swindle, if you love the sound of Detroit Swindle you will definitely love the releases on their Heist Recordings label.
So it happens that one of my favorite producers duo, the Irish Brame & Hamo released their new EP on Heist. Which is Brame & Hamo – The Parish Rumours EP. Another amazing EP after their release one their very own new imprint Splendor & Squalor. And yes Ladies and Gentlemen this one makes my day, once again Brame & Hamo deliver a amazing high quality EP with 3 stunning deep discofied tracks.

Is a deep house groover with an extra layer of atmospheric textures which gives you the feeling you are on a journey yes a journey into space. See your self in a fast space rocket shooting pass those planets stars and the sun! an amazing deep journey where the female vocal gives you that extra boost of energy. All with all a very beautiful main title track for the EP.
Brame & Hamo – Ghetto For You.
Here Brame & Hamo take you for another ride, imagine you entered another galaxy where things are going slower. but still having the same amount of energy in the rocket, you are feeling it but it’s not there. This track is an amazing deep disco groover with an beautiful bass-line that has the lead role in the track, The tight vocals make the track even more beautiful and bouncing, it brings you right to the dance floor making your body want to groove whether you planned it or not!
Brame & Hamo – Hotshot
When you know Brame & Hamo, you know that there must be a track in the EP with beautiful Rhodes chords a jazzy vibe and soulful elements combined all in one track, well Hotshot is the last track on the EP and makes that dream come true.
My end plea of the Brame & Hamo – The Parish Rumours EP is that once again it meets my expectations, every time they know how to make a smile appear on my face with their beautiful music and high quality productions. If you love deep discofied house music with soulful and jazzy elements than Brame & Hamo are definitely the ones to put on your watch list.
