The Sound of New York City has been going since 2008, born out of a musical movement and radio station. The label was established in 2019, all created by the much respected and experienced sound engineer Danilo Braca. The label has released music by esteemed artists such as DJ Nature, Ashley Beedle, DJ Rocca, DJ Spinna, The Revenge, Synth & Soda, and SuperJaimie. The next one up on the NYC label is ‘Sïana Woza-Woza’ by the label head himself. That includes a solid original plus a remix by the one and only Ron Trent. We recently also did a in-depth interview with Danilo Braca and asked him 23 questions here.

Danilo Braca – Sïana Woza-Woza.

“Dubbed Sïana” is the A-side of an album that will tantalize your senses and transport you to an ethereal realm. This Afro-house groove artfully layers moody pads, kick drums, bright trumpets, a lively djembe, and even a loosely restrained acid gurgle. Together they create this complex tapestry of sonic flavors that will bring out all kinds of emotions in the listener. And with its hypnotic chant and beguiling charm, “Woza-Woza” will undoubtedly enchant you and keep you enthralled until the last notes linger in the air!

Ron Trent Remix.

Ron Trent is known for his technical prowess and knack for making music that melts in your ears like honey on a summer day. On the latest from Prescription Records, he steps up to show us what makes him such an adored producer. His deep and melodic rhythms are the perfect foundation for his signature warm and atmospheric textures: a classic yet powerful rendition of the original song. With this masterful mix, Ron Trent proves why he’s earned his place as one of the greats.
