Highlights from Dirty Disco 595

Felipe Gordon – the jazzy deep house signature

Colombian producer Felipe Gordon is a prominent force in modern deep house. Known for his releases on Shall Not Fade, Razor-N-Tape and Toy Tonics, Felipe’s music fuses jazz instrumentation, Latin rhythms and house grooves. Episode 595 features no less than five of his tracks, each highlighting a different nuance of his style, from the dreamy swing of “Takes Time” to the more introspective “Hold On”. His organic textures and dusty drum programming feel handcrafted for spring.

Lauer – 770077 (Khotin Remix)

German producer Lauer, known for his synth-heavy house and Italo influences, gets a lush rework from Canadian artist Khotin. The remix of “770077” brings analog textures, a nostalgic bounce, and lo-fi warmth that perfectly bridges club energy with headphone-friendly depth. It’s a highlight of this week’s mood, retro-futuristic and emotionally rich.

The Philly All Stars – Love Is The Message (Eric Kupper Remix)

This classic gets a respectful update from longtime house producer and remixer Eric Kupper. With roots in disco, gospel and soul, the original was a foundational dancefloor anthem. Kupper adds steady house rhythm and crisp production, maintaining the emotional power of the original while giving it a timeless house context.

DJ Deep – groove architecture from Paris

With a legacy spanning from the ‘90s Paris scene to today’s global underground, DJ Deep is a master of subtle, percussive deep house. Tracks like “Sunday Loop” and “The Third Man” show his ability to hold a groove without overstatement. Clean drum programming, filtered pads and restrained builds make his work perfect for immersive listening or hypnotic dancefloors.

Kirk Degiorgio – UK soul with Detroit discipline

Degiorgio’s work on “Elate” and “Seven Minutes of Funk” represents a deeper, soulful strand of techno and house. Known for his Applied Rhythmic Technology (ART) label and links to the broken beat scene, he blends British funk influence with Detroit-inspired synth arrangements. His tracks in this episode add a cinematic dimension to the mix.

HNNY – the Swedish storyteller

HNNY has a gift for wrapping lo-fi textures in warm, melodic structures. “Never Gonna Be the Same” taps into nostalgia without becoming melancholic. It’s soft, soulful, and emotionally present, a strong closer in the last quarter of the mix that invites introspection and calm movement.
