In this weeks episode of Dirty Disco Radio 121 i have a few new releases and a couple of very dope promo’s waiting for you.
I’m going to play a very dope and new track by the well known German House & Techno act / formation Kollektive Turmstrasse on the Diynamic label. A new and 3th release on the Dutch Diepside label by Silverius, the New EP from Lawson – First Bounce will be released on the 1st of June exclusively through Traxsource and i’m going to play on track of that EP for you. Ben Gomori – Consious EP also became available form today on the Blossom Kollektive record label which already gets a lot of support by Adam Port, Sasha, Vanilla Ace, Horse Meat Disco and of course Dirty Disco Radio.
We Play Wax is record label which started a few years ago strictly as a platform for Vinyl, artists and interviews, recently they started their label with a debut release by Giovanni Damico & Tomson – In The Beginning The EP will become available on a 180 gr Vinyl on the 1st of June and features 2 original tracks from each producer and a remix on each other tracks.
Last but not least we will also play a piece of the live-set by Daniel Robson which was recorded during the latest Technic Fabrique Event in the Cue Bar in Amsterdam this Month.
Next to the music we also have a new article for you written by our UK DDR Specialist, Writer, DJ, Curator Ian Skeavington. Ian wrote a new article on “The World Of Sampling” a very interesting article on sampling as in samples from tracks, audio fragments owned by other people and used in new music, are we consider it copying, stealing when it’s without permission or is it inspiring each other? just remember this: Their would be no music without music. 😉 Something to think about, and we are curious about your thoughts on the article.
Ian also released his latest mixtape “FunkySexyCoolDeep” Volume 3 where he curates and mixes 12 beautiful tracks.
