Once again i went back into the studio during all of the business with the Amsterdam Dance Event and made a new selection of dope track for you in this episode of Dirty Disco Radio 136. After all of that ADE violence of the last few days it felt like i had to ease the mind a little bit, and along with that wet autumn weather it felt like bringing some electronic autumn beats to the tables to start the show with. And just like you are used from me by now i’m always building up the vibe in the show to another level of energy, from the electronic beats we are slowly building into the deeper and with disco influenced sounds to finally top it off whit some beautiful house music.
30 dope tracks.
In this episode you can hear music from the new EP from Plage 84 – Not Too Fast released on Roche Musique, i’m also playing the brand new EP from Hamo – Cotton Club which is released on the very own Brame & Hamo records label called “Splendor & Squalor” Next to that we will bring a little visit to Germany where the Monologues Record lable from Ben Gomori wil act as a place holder for 2 of their latest releases from Lrusse – Ynyslas which we played a few times before in other episodes of Dirty Disco Radio, and i’m also playing a brand new release from Fedde – What You Do To Me. More music from: Detroit Swindle, Butch, Adesse Versions, Luke Vibert, Phil Weeks, Audiojack and so many more….
Amsterdam Dance Event.
Last week it was the 20th time the Amsterdam Dance Event was held here in Amsterdam and that turned our already beautiful capital in to an even more beautiful capital of Electronic Dance Music of the world 😉 I had a great time, meeting up with friends, people who i haven’t seen in a long time and of course playing with them. Even though it was the ADE and i was busy with that as well i took it a bit easier this year. Next year we are planning to bang again with ADE so if you are down for some collaboration on the Amsterdam Dance Event 2016, hit us up and get in touch, let’s do do some magic and working something beautiful out!
Mental Health & Filter House.
Ian Skeavington also has two new articles for you which i want to bring under your interest, the first one is about Filter House, which you can find right here, Ian explains a bit about the history of filter house and the direction it’s going towards nowadays. Another article and from a whole other level is the article about the elephant in the room, can you see the elephant? Well it’s there if you can’t see the elephant i would advice you to read this article on Mental Health, it’s very powerful and and under spoken subject where a lot of people and artists are bothered from.
