Next month, Marquee at The Star will be hosting DJ Diesel, also known as Shaquille O’Neal. The 7’1″ giant is a hall-of-fame basketball superstar who has turned his attention to DJing in recent years. His sets are full of filthy trap music, and he kicked off his career around 2015 with a set at Tomorrowworld. If you’re wondering what to expect from the show, keep reading!
His decorated basketball career spanned over two decades, of course. He played for six teams in the NBA and was a 15-time All-Star. He also won four NBA championships, three with the Lakers and one with the Miami Heat.
But what many people don’t know about Shaq is that he’s also an aspiring DJ. He goes by the name DJ Diesel and has played at some of the world’s biggest music festivals, including EDC Vegas and Tomorrowland.
Now, he’s coming to Australia for a show at Marquee Sydney on Saturday, August 27th. If you’re a fan of trap music, this is definitely an event you won’t want to miss! So mark the date in your calendar and we’ll see you there.
Inside info has revealed that Shaquille O’Neal is not a recent fan of music. The former NBA star and studio rapper has made multiple rap albums in the 90s, which he often found himself behind the decks at nightclubs after retirement for more than just one nightlife event!
It looks like tickets will go fast with early entry gone quickly as well as first release trying their best to sell out before 2nd batches come in at $79+ taxes/fees per person. Exact dates haven’t been announced yet but expect other locations as well seeing these shows soon enough so get your butt over there if you want good seats.
If you’re wondering what to expect from a DJ Diesel set, the answer is simple: filthy trap music. Shaq’s sets are full of high-energy tracks that are sure to get the crowd moving. He’s a master of getting the party started, so you can expect nothing less than a great time when he’s in the booth.
So if you’re looking for something to do next month, be sure to check out DJ Diesel at Marquee Sydney. It’s sure to be a night you won’t forget!
