Giving away free music as a producer is a good way to promote yourself and create more exposure. The benefit is that you don’t need a record label to do this, the downside is that there is no third party to monitor the quality of your music. Luckily there are music blogs like this one that curate those free downloads and wouldn’t write about them if they weren’t dope enough. Today we are presenting you this free music download from Fernando Montes – Andy (ft Stefano Manganini)
Before we listen to his track and give it to you for free let’s see who Fernando is. Like most DJ’s and producers the love for music started at a young age, where Fernando discovered his father’s music collection and got him listening to quality music. From here the in Spain born DJ decided to follow a career in music and started to DJ. Already at a very young age Fernando Montes was playing in some of the best clubs in Madrid during that time.
DJ’ing was cool but the Spanish DJ wanted more, so he decided to produce music. When he was 25 he moved to London and started to follow online courses and video how to’s in music production.
Since then Fernando Montes created a bunch of music, trying to find his own sound, experimenting and pushing boundaries in sound. After releasing music on Eagervision (his Petrescus EP) and collaborating with Stefano Manganini, he wanted to give his produced music from the 10 last years away for free.
The track that we are featuring today in this music review feature is available as a free music download.
The track is best described as a downtempo jazz influenced electronica track with a deep house vibe to it. Emotional vocals, an subtle acid style bassline and a electric piano with jazzy guitar plucks and melodie make the track to what it is. An awesome piece of work. And the best part completely for free, no strings attached!
Listen to the track here below and tell us what you think about it. Leave your feedback in the comment section on the bottom of this page.
