Welcome to the new episode of FunkySexyCoolDeep!

The autumn is now well and truly underway but we are back to keep you warm with some great new music.

We have the great new track Healing (originally given to BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac under an assumed name) which turned out to be from Rudimental. We have a few great remixes and remakes, firstly from Chicane via Philip George which was a bootleg made by George for his sets but Chicane heard it and wanted it including with other remixes on their “Twenty” greatest hits album that has just been released. We then have Carneo Beats remix of 2 people out out on Sam Divine’s Divine Sounds label and then 3 bootleg remakes from Low Steppa, Stereotype and Dim Chord taking in harder bass and tech house styling or their originals.

We have great original music from  DJ Cameo & Junction 13 Feat Manny (out on Defected) and Shuya Okino featuring Navasha Daya (out on Soul Heaven) then some giant classics from Federico Scavo and Duke Dumont that have been really setting the summer on fire. Set that with the great disco flavors of Flush and a throwback to this time in 2014 with the beautiful rolling bass of Dusky’s Inta and you have Volume 7!

Enjoy and We’ll back back soon with more great music and plus maybe more! It’s nearly the time for The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) and this year we’ll be in attendance and checking in with Dirty Disco Radio head honcho Kono Vidovic during the event so keep your eyes peeled for fun and hi-jinx there too!

Ian "Skev" Hardy developed a love for music at a very young age and set his goals around two simple tasks, collecting great music and playing great music. Ian established FunkySexyMusic in 2013. “I needed a brand to create my vision of how things needed to be, something that when you heard it mentioned meant quality, great music, fun, how house used to be.” FunkySexyMusic is about music that is of the highest quality, "it’s about the fact I spend ages looking for that tune, the new one, the one you haven’t heard before, the perfect one that makes your heart smile and your feet dance when you hear it. It’s about unity, it’s about family and ultimately, it’s about freedom, freedom for you on the dance floor and freedom for me behind the decks." It’s about the fact when you hear Ian Hardy or FunkySexyMusic mentioned, you know what to expect and you should never accept less. Finally, it’s about the love, not the money. Ian was overjoyed to be welcomed into the Dirty Disco Radio family in early 2015 and is aiming to bring you sets and editorial pieces that are to the same high standard that you have always come to expect from Kono and the rest of the Dirty Dsico radio family.
