Ross Allen’s Foundation Music is back at it again, this time teaming up with musical polymath and keyboard wizard Greg Foat. The new album Psychosynthesis is set to be another masterpiece, with Ross Allen and his team pushing the boundaries of music once again.

Greg Foat is one of the UK’s leading jazz musicians, but he’s also something of a musical maverick. He’s recorded for Jazzman Records, Athens of The North and Strut, and his solo and collaborative albums touch on everything from spiritual jazz to Balearic beats, jazz-funk, and deep house. In recent years he’s worked with a diverse selection of musicians including Moses Boyd, Bob Lind, Curtis Lundy, Rita Ora, Questlove, Lady Blackbird and The Kooks. But no matter who he’s working with or what style of music he’s playing, one thing is always clear: Greg Foat is a force to be reckoned with.
Greg Foat is a music deviant, and on this release he brings his eclectic collection of 80’s synths into the world of Detroit deep techno. The original ‘Psychosynthesis’ from Greg’s album was lacking something, so Ross thought it needed a remix to make it the epic techno cut that it could be. To do this, Ross enlisted the help of Beyonce collaborator Foremost Poets, plus the musical genius that is Crooked Man. The result? Just dropped on the 5th of August, Psychosynthesis Part 1 & 2. If you’re a fan of music reviews, then this is definitely an album you need to check out.
Foundation Music is excited to announce the release of Foremost Poets’ Remix on August 26th and Crooked Man’s Remixes in September. This is a music collection that is sure to get everyone’s attention! Foremost Poets is a well-known DJ and producer from New Jersey, and his music is sure to get your feet moving. Crooked Man is a legendary Sheffield producer, and his remixes are sure to shine a light on the track. We can’t wait for everyone to hear these amazing remixes!
