On their new EP, ‘Muleña’, Belfast-born-and-bred DJ, producer and label boss Hammer joins forces with rising Zambian-Scottish artist KILIMANJARO for a killer four-track EP.
Creating a sonic swirl bubbling with Hammer’s signature Italo house basslines and KILIMANJARO’s high-energy melodies and rhythms, the EP also lands with a dub and remix of the title track from Australian producer Tornado Wallace.
Highlights of the EP include the title track ‘Muleña’, which is a high-energy disco banger with a catchy melody that will stay in your head long after the song is over. The dub version of ‘Muleña’ by Tornado Wallace is also worth checking out, as it takes the track in a new direction and adds some extra bass to get those feet moving.
The four tracks that the EP offers are all top quality Nu Disco tunes that will get any dance floor moving. If you’re a fan of Italo Disco or Nu Disco, then this is definitely an EP you need to check out.
DJ, producer and label boss Hammer is best known for his work in the Italo Disco scene. Born in Belfast, he has released music on a number of respected labels including Italo Hiits, Needwant and Correspondant Records. He is also the founder of his own label, Mule Musiq.
KILIMANJARO is a Zambian-Scottish artist who is quickly making a name for himself in the dance music world. His high-energy melodies and rhythms have caught the attention of many top DJs and producers, and he has already released music on a number of respected labels including Ministry of Sound and Defected Records.
