Instead of just one free download this week, how would you feel about 8 free tracks to download and add to your music collection? I stumbled up on this various artists album while i was selecting music for this House music podcast 356 and added two of them as essentials. Fresh Take Records – Home Deliveries LP.

The independent House Music record label from Edinburgh Fresh Take Records is widely known for its Disco sampled House Music releases. Ranging within the full Soul, Jazz, Funk and Disco spectrum by releasing sample based quality House music and edits that makes sure dance floors get packed and people feel the groove.

Next to their normal releases they occasionally drop free downloads as well. Their most recent freebie is called ‘Home Deliveries’ which follows up after their other free album they dropped 6 months ago called ‘Fresh Take Editz. The new LP is not one free track but a full album including eight tracks from various artists.

This 8 tracker long player features new music from producers who go under the names of : David Bulay, Idris Muhamed, TBM, Tiernan Hughes, Nyreau, Philco, Francesco, and Magnus Kermack.

By using the player here below you can hear the vibes to see if you like them just before you download the full album for free. I noticed that even though the overall vibe leans mostly towards the Disco sampled based House Music like we know from theBasement Discos which is a similar sounding label.

There is something in this one for everybody. Varying from Jazzy infused Deep house in Francesco – Meditating, or Straight up solid House grooves in Nyreau – How Your Body Feels, to a dance floor packing Disco Banger from Philco – Uhh Huhhand or Tiernan Hughes – Every Night. Even if you like that 80’s breakbeat street sound you are in for a treat with TBM’s Street Jig. And last but not least if progressive breakbeats and dreamy landscapes with vocals are your thing Magnus Kermack – Subaru Birds does the trick.
