Let’s look at Keni Burke – Risin’ To The Top (Motte Edit). The original song by Keni Burke was released in 1982 and since then got sampled many times in different genres by many artists. So now and then new and emerging artists use tracks like this to build up their name in the scene and often offer them as free downloads and giveaways. Recently i stumbled up on this edit by Motte and found it very good. So good that i decided to share it with you in this post.

That’s right this edit by the Austria based producer Motte is completely free for you to download. It’s a proper edited version of the original where all the original elements where left in place, and he re-visioned the track without hurting it. The fat kick makes it even more danceable and perfect for use in nowadays DJ sets by DJ’s who like to play the Nu Disco genre and these kind of disco edits in their sets. Like i did here in this 297th episode of my weekly Dirty Disco podcast.
