K•Mo – Spiritual Rhythm EP – Wayout Records – Release Date: 5th August. Kono Vidovic
It’s been a little while since we’ve heard from K•Mo, but the Manchester-based producer and DJ is back with a new single entitled ‘Spiritual Rhythm’. The track is set to be released on August 5th on Wayout Records, a label that Kumo launched as a platform for his new guise.
Kumo has been busy over the past few releases, unveiling a debut album under the alias as well as EP’s featuring remixes from the likes of Byron The Aquarius, Manakinz, Westcoast Goddess, Leonid Nevermind, Yard One, Mahal and Larry Quest. Now, for the label’s tenth release, K•Mo delivers his latest single.
‘Spiritual Rhythm’ is a 4-track deep house EP that features hypnotic sounds and entrancing soundscapes. The production is top-notch, as we’ve come to expect from K•Mo, and the EP is sure to get you moving on the dancefloor. If you’re looking for something to help you get through the summer heat, look no further than ‘Spiritual Rhythm’.
The first track on the EP is the title track, ‘Spiritual Rhythm’. The track is a deep house groove that features organic drums and sprinkles of dubbed out trumpets and key stabs. This one is sure to get the dancefloor moving.
The second track on the EP is ‘Chi-Town Jam’. This one is a dub disco influenced jam that features Tim Jules on keys. If you’re a fan of disco or house, this one’s for you.
The third track on the EP is ‘Summer Of 93’. This one is a nineties inspired house track that is perfect for summertime listening. It’s sure to get you in the mood for some summer fun.
The final track on the EP is ‘Harmony’. This one is a percussive heavy dreamy deep house cut that is laden with smooth key patterns, courtesy of Tim Jules. If you’re looking for something to help you relax, this is the track for you.
