Last month, LP Giobbi released a subtle yet instantly unshakeable single (All In A Dream) that had fans of her previous work quickly raving about how it blended live instrumentation and bold contemporary production. The new song follows suit by paying homage to early house music with an added twist, this time around she brings in DJ Tennis for some tasty drum & pad sounds (as well as Joseph Ashworth on bass) while still maintaining that signature piano performance from college days at UC Berkeley along side Deadhead parents who taught their daughter everything they knew about improvisational jazz theory.

A rising star on the horizon.

With the two singles taken together, it becomes clear that LP Giobbi has been on an upward trajectory for some time. Her recent nomination in DJ Mag’s Breakthrough Producer category and her set from Defected Radio 1’s Dance Weekend are just part of what was a successful year. She will continue this success into 2022 with more festival appearances scheduled throughout summer months including gigs at intimate venues around the globe.
