German musician and singer-songwriter Monolink (Steffen Linck) returns with a new remix of his second album entitled “Under Darkening Skies” via Embassy One. This time, the album’s lead track, “Don’t Hold Back”, with its swirling strings, punchy bassline and meditative lyrics, is transformed into a truly progressive and wickedly catchy track in the hands of Odd One Out’s head honcho Yotto, best known for his remixes of Gorillaz, Coldplay, Faithless, Röyksopp and, most recently, Orbital’s ecstatic 1991 track “Belfast”.
Yotto.
Yotto (born Otto Yliperttula) is a Finnish producer who made his mark on the global EDM scene with his debut EP Memento / Azzurro on Anjuna Deep. Since then, Yliperttula has founded Odd One Out and played not one but two sold-out shows at London’s Electric Brixton in March 2022. He is currently preparing for an Australian tour in mid-September.
Don’t Hold Back Remix.
With “Don’t Hold Back”, Yotto delivers a remix that is both faithful to the original and takes it to new heights, with an infectious bassline and melody that is sure to get clubgoers moving. The track is out now on all major streaming platforms.
