Ableton, the music production software company, has just released a new iPhone app called “Note.” This app is designed specifically for the very first steps of the production process. It allows you to sketch out your ideas and start building songs on the go! If you’re an iPhone user and you’re interested in music production, this is definitely an app worth checking out.
In the music production world, Ableton has been making a name for itself for many years now. Thanks to its software Ableton Live, launched in 1999, a musical sequencer allowing composition and arrangement, and also used a lot during live performances. To accompany this music creation process, Ableton has just launched a brand new mobile application called “Note”. Available for the time being on iOS only, it has been designed specifically for the very first steps of the production process.

With Note, the producers among you will be able to create their own sounds via the integrated sampler or simply use a selection of drums, instruments and synths from Ableton Live directly integrated into the application. The goal is to launch an idea directly on your phone as soon as you have it in mind, and then continue the work in Ableton Live.
Ableton Note is available for iPhone and iPad on the AppStore for €6,99.
