Earlier this month we introduced you to Myd’s latest release – Domino. Now, just a few weeks later, he’s back with not one, but three Domino remixes of the original track. The EP was released on July 8th on French Ed Banger Records, and it’s definitely worth a listen.
Myd himself provides a festival mix that is sure to get your feet moving and a real energy riser, while Dan Shake offers up his own unique take on the song, keeping it high in energy, strong but with a solid hard groove. Finally, the Pedro Dub on Domino provides a deep and atmospheric remix that is perfect for those late-night listening sessions seeing the sun go down, or up ;-).
All in all, this is a Remix EP that should not be missed. Myd has done an excellent job in putting together this EP with three very different but equally powerful versions of his track Domino. Check it out now and let us know what you think!
Ed Banger Records is a French electronic music record label founded in 2003 by Busy P. The label has released records by artists such as Justice, Mr. Oizo, SebastiAn, Cassius, Breakbot, Feadz, and Para One. Myd’s “Domino” EP is the latest release from the Ed Banger label.
French House is a genre of electronic music that was developed in the early 1990s by French musicians and the Daft Punk duo being very famous for it. The style is characterized by its use of filtered disco samples, synthesizers, and drum machines. French house is often associated with the Ed Banger label and Justice’s 2006 album †. Myd’s “Domino” EP has a strong French House influence.
