Most of the times when i listen to an E.P. with 4 tracks on it, there is always a track or 2 which i don’t like, but very very occasionally i find an E.P. where i can say from that every single track on it is awesome.
This time i’m going to talk about the new E.P. from Purple Velvet – All My Day’s, where the purple velvet duo managed to get a really awesome E.P. with the collaboration together with Amy Lyon on the vocals in the main title: All My Days, and the really cool remix from the Dutch Frits Wentink with his unique sound.
All My Days is an E.P. that just every deep house lover out there has to have.
Purple Velvet – All My Days (Original) is a laidback silky sounding deep house groover, where the vocals coming from the great voice of Amy Lyon makes you wanna go with her on a walk in her dream.
Purple Velvet – Lost In Vienna is again a laidback groover, with a little more drive to it. The spacey synths are taking you into another dimension floating around, and suddenly the sampled vocal which says: You are just feeling me! takes you back on the ground and makes your legs start to move again.
Purple Velvet – All My Days (Frits Wentink Remix) Is a whole other deal, together with the same vocals from Amy Lyon but with his extinsive way of beat producing and groove production this is taking your groove to another level. Your heart starts to pound faster and that beat is bringin you back to life with it’s stoney characteristics.
Purple Velvet – All My Days (Borrowed Identity Remix) is also a little more to step to, but with that laidback brake where the rhodes are coming in and the bass comes in to play you can see your self driving on the highway getting to that party for tonight.
Purple Velvet – Sleeper is the last track on the E.P. Together with All My Days (Original) they are really doing it for me. Sleeper is deep and lucious! This whole E.P. is defining the Deep house to see the sun go down with. Summerish deep house in mid summer what can we ask more for?
