When Christophe Salin steps out with a new release, you know it’s time to stop what you’re doing and listen. As label head of Salin Records, and a longtime champion of analog-rich, emotionally intelligent house music, his name is synonymous with quality and craftsmanship. The German producer has carved out a deep sonic identity that blends hardware warmth, melodic clarity, and an affinity for musical storytelling. And with his ‘Melodies & Harmonies EP’, he delivers perhaps one of his most vivid stories yet.

The EP is Salin’s eighth outing on his own imprint (SALIND008), and it opens the 2025 chapter of Salin Records with grace, sunshine, and soul. It’s also a heartfelt homage to Cadaqués, the picturesque Spanish village that inspired each of the three tracks. The percussion is crisp, the chords are rich, and the overall vibe is joyously contagious. It’s the kind of track that could close a DJ set or soundtrack a golden hour aperitivo.
