It seems that the collaboration between The Weeknd & Swedish House Mafia is far from over. Rumors are swirling that the two groups may have teamed up for the soundtrack of Avatar 2. A cryptic teaser video has appeared on Instagram, which has led many fans to believe that a new song is in the works. If this turns out to be true, it will be an exciting addition to the already-ambitious soundtrack of Avatar 2. Read on for more information!

The teaser video, posted on The Weeknd’s Instagram account, features a snippet of a song playing in the background along with an image of Avatar 2 artwork. While no specific details were given about the collaboration, it could be assumed that both The Weeknd and the Swedish group have or will be involved in some way.
What’s more intriguing is the repartee of the Swedish trio too. How involved are they? Original production or co-production? Listening to the extract, we recognize some similarities with an ID played by the Swedes during their last tour. Entitled “Dreams”, the drums and the voices used resemble quite clearly the universe of the teaser. Powerful and mystical, we wouldn’t be surprised to see this track appear in James Cameron’s movie. It remains to be seen what the link is between The Weeknd and the involvement of the Swedish House Mafia.
While the collaboration between The Weeknd & Swedish House Mafia is still a mystery, it seems that there is more to this story than meets the eye. Both groups have hinted at something big in the works, and with Avatar 2 set for release next year, all signs point to a new song or soundtrack being released soon. Stay tuned for updates as they become available!
