As we know today, it would be difficult to summarize and reduce Tomorrowland to a simple festival in Belgium. As the driving force behind the explosion of EDM and electronic music in general, the Belgian franchise has created a universe that has been exported internationally, to the United States, France and soon to Dubai. Despite this, we were surprised by the announcement of the creation of the ‘Tomorrowland Academy’, an academy designed to train the DJs and producers of tomorrow.
Several summer camps will take place during the month of July, for kids/teens as well as for adults who want to learn more about DJing and producing their own music. The website also indicates that apart from the physical sessions, online video courses will also be available online by 2023.
THE ACADEMY IS COMMITTED TO ENCOURAGING YOUTH FROM AROUND THE WORLD TO DEVELOP THEIR OWN CREATIVE SKILLS BY EMPOWERING THEM WITH EVERYTHING THEY NEED TO PRODUCE, DISTRIBUTE, CREATE AND PERFORM THEIR MUSIC AND ARTS.
