Dirty Disco.

When you see or hear the term Dirty Disco Radio, or Dirty Disco, you probably first think it has something to do with disco, if you think that you are absolutely right! But Dirty Disco stands for more than just Disco, you see Disco started in the 60’s 70’s and was the foundation for modern electronic dance music as we know it, not just for the disco related material with all of those old disco and funk samples. but as a dance real dance music it was the ancestor for today’s dance music. Like funk is the ancestor and foundation for Hip-Hop Disco is that for today’s dance music. So with that being said you now know what Dirty disco is about, proper electronic dance music, from Nu Disco, Deep House, House everything in between and anything related, as long as we like it. We try to bring you new music, tracks you haven’t heard before which are rare, hard to find and or exclusive. We also do write about music that is more popular but like is said if we like it at Dirty Disco we like it! 😉 And if it’s good, it’s good! 😉

So back to some music now.

YSE Saint Laur’Ant – Faux Métier EP

Because we have the disco in the name and just because we love those tunes, here is a real disco groover pur sang which we want to let you know about.
YSE Saint Laur’Ant – Faux Métier is a proper disco groover with 4 tracks on it (you can listen to them in the player above this text, just beneath the picture. The EP is released on Editorial Records.
YSE is a in Hong Kong based producer, crate digger and DJ as he speaks from his Soundcloud profile. And the 4 tracks on YSE Saint Laur’Ant – Faux Métier EP are in the vibe of Funky mid tempo disco house tracks which is pressed on a very rare purple 12″ vinyl

The 4 tracks on YSE Saint Laur’Ant – Faux Métier op piece of dope was are: “Where Are You Gonna Land” which has an original summer welcome to the caribean islands sound to it. The next track “Keep In Step” had a more proper 4×4 kick with a more disco sound, because of the funky guitars and trumpets that give that extra energy. No the B-side of the 12″ purple vinyl contains “Bow Legged Robot” a retro disco bass-line is taking you together with some funky guitars on a little trip, the vocals of the singing children in it make the track unique and give it a special funky freshness to it. The last track brings us back to that summer feeling somewhere on a beach “The Optimistic Voyeur” A very happy melody and a happy singer are giving you that summer boost you really need in this cold period of the year, extra energy to live through this dark season is very much apreciated. 😉
